A Ryde man has denied causing a woman actual bodily harm and will now see his case heard before a jury at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
Warren Angus, 37, of Milward Place, Ryde denied assaulting a person thereby occasioning actual bodily harm when he appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Friday.
It is alleged that between 30th December 2022 and 1st January 2023, Angus assaulted a female whilst the pair were together.
The female suffered injuries to her face.
The case has been adjourned and will go to trial at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 8th February 2023. Warren Angus has been bailed until that time.
