New Shoots Exhibition
A private viewing of The Ryde Art Collective’s ‘New Shoots’ exhibition at Quarr Abbey blossomed into a fantastic jam packed evening on Wednesday 28th March.
With over a 100 people attending the wine overflowed and the nibbles disappeared quicker than a squirrel storing his nuts!
New Shoots’ is a double celebration marking both the arrival of Spring and the opportunity for 5 new members to participate in their first TRAC exhibition. A range of practices have been introduced to the group by the new members including wood turning, needle felting, ceramics, textiles and multimedia.
Lots of lovely items were sold on the night and it was a very warm and happy event. Particular thanks has been given to Violet Marek for organising the event.
‘New Shoots’ is open daily from 10:30-16:30 until 10th April. Free entry.
