UPDATED: Those living in Shanklin and the surrounding areas have been hit by a power cut this morning (Sunday).
According to Southern and Scottish Energy, properties in the Shanklin, Luccombe, Godshill and Wroxall areas have been it by the outage, which has affected a total of 1209 customers. The power was lost at 11:00.
The cause of the break in supply is currently unknown, however engineers are on site investigating the incident.
UPDATE @ 14:37 – Power has been restored to all customers, SSE have confirmed.
