UPDATED: Properties in the Northwood area of Cowes have been hit by a power cut this evening (Tuesday).
Southern and Scottish Energy are reporting that 20 postcode areas in the PO31 8 region are without power, although it is hoped that normal supplies will be returned by 18:30.
Other areas have experienced a small outage of around 10 minutes.
The traffic lights at Northwood Garage have been affected by the outage.
UPDATE @ 17:25 – SSE say power is now expected to be restored by 21:30.
UPDATE @ 21:20 – At 20:55 all affected customers were reconnected according to SSE.
