Police have launched an investigation after a car was broken into in Cowes overnight.
The incident occurred on Arctic Road sometime between last night (Monday) and this morning.
A wallet was stolen from inside the vehicle.
Local neighbourhoods officers have been in the area making enquiries today, including going door-to-door.

Who on earth leaves a wallet in their car??!! Obvs not saying it’s right to break in, but really….
Presumably it was left by accident rather than deliberately. I guess we’ve all probably done silly things or simply forgot where we’ve left something at one time or another?
