Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have released the image of a Newport man wanted in connection with a domestic-related assault.
Daniel Dickinson, aged 31, from Newport, is wanted in connection with a domestic-related assault on 21st August and breach of a non-molestation order.
Police have released a photo of Dickinson and are following up all lines of enquiry to locate him. However, they would also now like to appeal to the wider public for information relating to his whereabouts.
A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“We would like to remind people that anyone found to be harbouring Daniel to deliberately obstruct our attempts to locate him may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves.
“If you have seen him, or have information regarding his whereabouts, please do not approach him and instead contact police on 101, quoting 44230348699.

UPDATE: 30th October – Daniel Dickinson has today (Monday) been arrested by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary.
He remains in custody.

The question is always asked why do they not stay in France which is a safe country? Some people say its probably because they’ve got family here or they speak English. The main reason is because in France they have to sleep in a tent on the street where as here we put them up in 4 star hotels Hotels while their claims are being processed. Also its much easier to dissappear and find work below the radar here than it is in France.

Housing is allocated by the IW Council, not by housing associations.
