UPDATED: A pedestrian has sustained minor injuries after coming into contact with a vehicle in Brading High Street this evening (Saturday).
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were called to The Bullring in Brading shortly after 16:35 following reports that a pedestrian had suffered injuries.
It is believed the individual has made contact with a passing bus, however the bus driver did not notice the collision and has continued the scheduled journey.
Thankfully, the pedestrian has sustained only minor ‘walking-wounded’ injuries.
Police remain in attendance at The Bullring, however the road remains open in both directions.
UPDATE @ 17:37 – The scene has now been cleared. The injured party has not been conveyed to hospital.
