A pedestrian has been conveyed to hospital this evening (Tuesday) after being involved in a collision with a car in Ryde.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene on Dover Street shortly after 17:00, where it is understood a female was knocked down by a passing vehicle. The windscreen of the car was smashed in the incident.
The scene was quickly cleared ahead of a children’s Christmas play at the adjacent Aspire community center.
The woman is not thought to have suffered any serious, life-threatening injuries.
