The Isle of Wight’s only local wrestling promoter – Outcast Pro Wrestling – is bringing its biggest event, the family-friendly wrestling show ‘Island Warfare 5’, to the Wootton Bridge Community Centre on 4th February.
This will be the 5th annual Island Warfare event, and it is shaping up to be the biggest one yet.
The evening will feature some huge matches, including Spartan International (Alabama, USA), CWP (Southampton, UK), and Outcast Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion (Isle Of Wight) Jackson Arrow taking on former CWP Heavyweight Champion and CWP no limits Champion, the Straight Edge Samoan, Eddie Kenway. The destination of the Outcast Pro-Wrestling Heavyweight Championship and CWP Heavyweight Championship will be decided in this event.
Fan favourites Rudi Root, Luna Trix and Rusty Jack team up for 1 night only as The Root of All Rusty Trix to take on the formidable team of JJ Volare, Savage Wrestling Heavyweight Champion (Bournemouth) Roger Sears and JC Cardy in an action-packed 6-person tag team match.
The Outcast Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Sickness, consisting of The Outcast Pro Wrestling Isle of Wight Champion, the CWP County Champion (Southampton) and 1-half of the Outcast Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions, the Virus Kane Michael, will team with either of the devastating, Scrappy Jack or Newt, to put the Outcast Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championships on the line. They will face the team of Bushido Storm, consisting of former Isle of Wight Champion Azzy Adams and his Tag Team partner Ajax. Will Bushido Storm have what it takes to leave Island Warfare as the new Outcast Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions?
The grudge match between Ryan Hendricks and Dirty Dave Dennis has a bitter rivalry that became an Internet sensation at last year’s Island Warfare. The eyes of the Internet will be watching this one to see who comes out on top.
The main event of the evening is the annual Island Warfare Match! This will include 30 men, only eliminated by pin-fall or submission. Entering number 1 will be the White Wolf, as per the orders of OPW General Manager Jackson Arrow. Entering number 2 will be the Isle of Wight Champion: the Virus Kane Michael. The Island Warfare match determines the Isle of Wight Championship. Could the Virus lose 2 of his 3 championships in 1 night or is he going to make history by winning the Island Warfare match an astonishing 3rd time?
