Franki Phillips – the owner of Franki’s Hair Salon on Clarence Road in East Cowes – sadly passed away on New Year’s Day, it has been announced.
Her salon has been closed since just before the New Year.
In a tear-jerking post on Facebook, Franki’s Hair Salon has said:
“We write this with heavy hearts.
“As you are all aware, we unexpectedly had to shut the salon before the new year began.
“We are deeply saddened to say that on New Year’s Day, our beautiful Franki passed away.
“There are no words to describe the loss we feel, she was the loveliest soul and her radiance will forever stay with us
“Our hearts are breaking Nothing can ever fill the hole she has left in our lives.
“We know so many of you will feel the same. For most of you, she was more than just your hairdresser, she was a friend. The positive, outgoing and welcoming salon that she has created over these 13 years will forever be unmatched.
“We want to thank all of her clients for their care and loyalty over the years, and for making her job feel like home.
“She will be unbelievably missed.
“Her Funeral details will be shared in the coming weeks, and you will all be more than welcome to pay your respects to our gorgeous, crazy lady.”

This is so saddening, Franki was a lovely caring and talented lady. My thoughts go out to all of her family, friends and work colleagues. Another angel who has gained her wings xxx
