Girlguiding Isle of Wight have launched a brand new website today (Thursday) to coincide with the annual World Thinking Day.
Created by the talented team at Solent Create, the new website should help everyone to access Girlguiding information both locally and nationally with links to the World Association of Girlguides & Girlscouts (WAGGS).
The site launch falls on World Thinking Day. World Thinking Day is one of the most important dates in the Girlguiding calendar where members and volunteers come together to think about what it means to be part of a global movement and to celebrate the 10 million sisters around the world. It is also a day for thinking about world issues and fundraising for the Girlguiding movement.
Every year World Thinking Day has a theme: this year that theme is Impact. Girlguides are thinking about how all actions have an impact, and how they can try to make that impact positive.
The new website can be found at www.girlguidingisleofwight.co.uk.
