A new, resident-led community group based in Ryde is looking for new members and volunteers.
The group – Ryde Alive! – is being supported by Sovereign and aims to help people in Ryde be happy, live well and make new friends.
Anyone who lives in the area – not just Sovereign residents – can come along to the first session at the Aspire Centre on Dover Street on Monday 9th July, from 12:30-14:30.
The group is hoping to put together a summer programme of activities, including walking, keep fit, arts and crafts, swimming, cultural activities and healthy eating.
