The Isle of Wight’s very own Nakamarra will premier their new single ‘Honey, I’ on Steph Nieuwenhuys’ BBC Introducing show on BBC Radio Solent tomorrow (Saturday 19th August).
Nakamarra are a local indie-electro 5 piece who have been making quite a lot of noise on the music scene this year. The band have already played a string of successful shows at the likes of Common People, Isle of Wight Festival 2017 and will be playing Bestival 2017 in just a matter of weeks.
The band are set to release a brand new single called Honey, I on Chalkpit Records on Friday 25th August 2017.
Charlie Jones, Lead singer from Nakamarra said:
“Honey, I – is the simple story of unrequited love, in an ever more complicated world. Reminiscent of summer haze, it evokes an intimate message by both the lyrical and instrumental arrangement of the song.
“The new single has been a long-standing song in our set, but we all love the song so much we thought why not release it, The track is completely self produced by us and was recorded in our university Studio’s and will be released digitally via Chalkpit Records on Friday 25th August 2017”
