Paramedics have been attending to a motorcyclist who has been injured in Ryde this morning (Thursday).
A Rapid Response Paramedic and an ambulance were called to High Street, Oakfield outside the Premier shop at around 08:20 after the rider was involved in a road traffic incident. Police were also called to the scene.
The injured rider has been placed into an ambulance and is expected to be conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital.
The road was blocked for a short period of time causing delays to Route 2 buses, however the scene has since been cleared.
