A 61-year-old man from Leicester who is alleged to have offered a teenage girl money to watch him ‘play with himself’ has pleaded not guilty to the offence today (Tuesday).
Sajid Damania, 61, of Leicester, denied the offence of attempting to internationally obtain the sexual services of a girl when he appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court this afternoon (Tuesday).
Ann Smout, prosecuting, told the court that it is alleged that at a premises in Cowes, Damania made lewd suggestions to a teenage girl. It’s said that he attempted to intentionally obtain for himself the sexual services of a girl whom he did not reasonably believe was aged 18 or over having previously promised to make payment to her for those services, contrary to the Criminal Attempts Act 1981.
It is said the offence happened in August of this year.
Damania will now appear at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 9th January. He has been granted conditional bail until that time.

I don’t understand this. It says: he intentionally obtained for himself the sexual services of a girl whom he did not reasonably believe was aged 18 or over having previously promised to make payment to her for those services.
So it seems the girl was willing and accepted the money for whatever the ‘service’ of watching him do whatever it was. So was the offence ‘Trying to pay the girl’ or actually ‘paying the girl’ who it seems was a willing party to the offence since she was under 18. But wait; the legal age limit is under 16 for a girl. Very confusing.
Agree, very weird, and pleaded not guilty ?
