UPDATED: The main road between Godshill and Rookley has been closed by Police this morning (Sunday) following a road traffic collision.
A motorcycle is thought to be involved in the incident, which has occurred near Pagham Farm. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 09:30.
Southern Vectis say their Route 6 bus leaving the depot at Pagham is running ‘slightly late’ due to the incident. Meanwhile all Route 3 buses are diverting via Merstone.
The road has been closed between Rookley Country Park and Bohemia Corner (junction with Merstone Lane).
UPDATE @ 10:21 – Main Road has now reopened in both directions.
Southern Vectis buses will now resume a normal route
No one is thought to have been seriously injured in the minor collision.
