An exhibition of works by L.S. Lowry, Sue Campion and Janet Ledger has gone on display at Island Fine Arts in Bembridge.
It’s been 15 years since the High Street gallery last had a collection of works by L.S Lowry on the wall, making the display of some of his pencil sketches all the more special.
Lowry’s work is displayed alongside Janet Ledger’s oil. Janet is greatly inspired by Lowry, who she met in London, prior to visiting his home. Sue Campion’s pastel paintings, which demonstrate stunning colour and strong composition, are also now on show.
The exhibition runs until 20th July 2017. The gallery, which was established in 1997, is open 6 days a week from 09:30-12:30 and 13:15-17:00. Sundays by appointment.
