A painting of 5 rescued circus tigers has been created by a local artist in aid of the Wildheart Trust.
Heather Neill has handed over the painting, entitled The Majestic 5, to Veronica Chrisp of the Isle of Wight Zoo-based charity.
It is hoped the painting will be sold for the purposes of fundraising.
Heather has said:
“I was extremely honoured to of been asked by Pauline Marshall (a volunteer fundraiser) to paint this canvas, seeing as I’m self taught and only started painting this February.
“I used to draw many years ago but then watched Portrait Artist of the Year on TV and thought I would have a go at painting and started to paint pet portraits.
“I hope it helps raise lots of funds to help the tigers”.
