What crime been committed then old vc with all this trouble going on in the island don’t think nobody will care over a few immature comments
Beating/assaulting an emergency worker should be an automatic 6 months in prison. This may NOT stop it ,but it will get the idiots off the streets for awhile.
I agree, although it has to be said these ^^ are ‘promoted’ by the CPS as slam-dunk offences unless the accused insists on jury trials. Magistrates can rarely impose custodial sentences in these job-lot applications for court time.
For example, ‘assault’ can be anything from knocking off a copper’s hat to a punch in the face. The former would end up here, the latter go to trial in order to discuss the surrounding factors.
An increase in jail time for more serious assaults on a sliding scale (6 months first offence, rising incrementally for subsequent offences) is an idea being pushed for crime and punishment reform.
Punishment reform, there is no punishment.
Little boys everywhere, mummy will take are of me.
I need my medication, it helps me control my behaviour.
