Monday 12th December – Friday 16th December 2022
- Sam Allenby, 38, of Cockleton Lane, Gurnard pleaded guilty to assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm. He was made subject to a 12-month community order with 50 hours of unpaid work attached. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £114 surcharge.
- Kye Malin, 33, of Newport Road, Ventnor pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance. He was further disqualified for a period of 18 months and made subject to a 18-month community order with 10 rehabilitation days and 22 Thinking Skills days attached. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £114 surcharge.
- Jake Woodford, 26, of Hookes Way, Newport pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. He was ordered to pay £10 compensation, £85 costs and a £40 fine.
- Louise Marsh, 49, of Birmingham Road, Cowes pleaded guilty to drink driving (72). She was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge.
- Finley Mulholland, 24, of West Street, Wroxall pleaded guilty to common assault of an emergency worker. He was fined £150 and ordered to pay £50 compensation, £85 costs and a £60 surcharge.
- Kieran Robson, 31, of Barton Road, Newport pleaded guilty to 2 counts of assault by beating. He was made subject to a 12-month community order with 15 rehabilitation days and was fined £300. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs with a £95 surcharge.
- Kenneth Berry, 72, of Weston Road, Cowes pleaded guilty to possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place and using threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was handed a 6-month prison sentence and ordered to pay a £154 surcharge. He was also made subject to a restraining order.
- Neil Mouland, 37, care of Victoria Grove, East Cowes, pleaded guilty to driver of a vehicle involved in a road accident failing to report that accident and driving without due care and attention. He was handed 8 points on his licence and made subject to a 9-month community order with 20 rehabilitation days attached. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.
- Luke Howarth, 24, care of 76 Fitzroy Street, Sandown pleaded guilty to using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress. He was made subject to a 9-month community order with 15 rehabilitation days attached, fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.
- Michael Murray, 31, of HMP Isle Of Wight, pleaded guilty to 2 counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker. He was handed a 4-week custodial sentence.
- Ria Lockwood, 19, of Ash Road, Newport pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. She was handed a 6-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £45 costs with a £26 surcharge.
- Andrew Turner, 68, of Avondale Road, Newport pleaded guilty to drink driving (47). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £249 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £100 surcharge.
