No car? No problem! KFC in Newport will welcome customers in-store for takeaway orders only from tomorrow (Tuesday).

The drive-thru re-opened earlier this month but it has now been announced that those without transport will also be able to visit the popular takeaway – as of 26th May.

KFC Newport is only every day from 12:00-21:00 at present. Card payment preferred for both drive-thru and in-store payments.

All such fast food outlets IF drive through by cars, should have the car number plate embossed into all the food containers.

Then when the rubbish is found strewn around, these numbers could be stored and if repeated an extra fee added to the next purchase to cover clean up costs.

Easy to do with modern number plate reading equipment and machinery.

Problems need solutions and action, not words.

Yes not fool proof, but then tough, better than doing nothing but moan.
