The latest book by local showbiz writer and broadcaster John Hannam has already become his fastest seller to date.
‘More Wight Connections’, with a foreword by Level 42’s Mark King, is proving very popular and sales are expected to rise even more in the run-up to Christmas.
This book contains 100 chapters on people associated with the Isle of Wight and one key selling point is the 63 photos of old Island groups and entertainers. Most of these are very rare and some have not been seen in print before.
John has told Island Echo:
“I am getting such a positive response and there are some great stories from many local characters. The old photographs seem to be a real hit.”
