Island journalist and broadcaster John Hannam has just released another new book entitled ‘The John Hannam Showbiz Interviews’.
This is a follow-up to his 2016 publication about pop stars of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. Once again, it features the stories behind John’s interviews, over the past 44 years.
‘Showbiz Interviews’ contains stories about legendary stars like Charlton Heston, John Mills, Sheridan Smith, Bruce Forsyth, Lynda Bellingham, Des O’Connor, Barbara Windsor and Frankie Howerd. There are chapters on over 80 famous names from the world of showbiz. The foreword has been written by Jimmy Tarbuck.
John told Island Echo:
“I feel so lucky in my life to have interviewed over four thousand people from the entertainment industry. I have met stars a local journalist would never expect to meet. I feel very privileged.”
John already has plans for a third book to be published in late 2018. He will be signing books at Glyn Morgan’s, Regent Street, Shanklin on Saturday (21st October) from 14:00-16:00.
