A local dance troupe from the Isle of Wight is celebrating after a glittering performance at the Best of Burlesque UK regional finals 2025, with Miss Autumn Star securing gold in the prestigious ‘Best Instructor’ category and a spot in the national finals.
Miss Autumn Star, a well-known burlesque performer and dance instructor based on the Isle of Wight, represented both the Island and the South of the UK at the regional competition. Her captivating aerial choreography wowed judges and audiences alike, earning her the title of Best Instructor for the South of the UK and the Isle of Wight.
As a result of her win, Miss Autumn Star will now advance to the national finals, which are due to take place in Blackpool on Saturday 15th November. There, she will compete against other regional winners for the overall title of Best Instructor in the UK.
In addition to her individual achievement, Miss Autumn Star’s competition team also made a major impression. The troupe, along with another dancer from the island, secured 4 out of 6 gold finalist spots for the UK finals – an outstanding result that places the Isle of Wight firmly on the national burlesque stage.
