Households across the Isle of Wight are well and truly in the festive spirit as they decorate their properties to light up the wight for the enjoyment of locals.
2015 has seen somewhat of a revival of Christmas light displays with many growing in size year-on-year and some new ones emerging, some of which are being held in aid of charity.
At Long Lane the Island’s largest display is being held in aid of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, as is a great display at Winford near Apse Heath.
In Ryde, the lights at Player Street are being switched on each night for The Rainbow Club, whilst in Chillerton a collection is being held for Parkinsons UK.
