National Unicorn Day may not be something you have heard of before, but Islanders certainly celebrated the rather unique day in style at Indulge Me in Ryde on Saturday.
Unicorn-themed fun, competitions, treasure hunts, face painting and other activities were on offer at the Lind Street shop throughout the day. Although the official Unicorn Day isn’t until Tuesday, the decision was made to host celebrations on Saturday to mark the start of the Easter school holidays.
The second annual extravaganza event was a great success and the demand for the ‘Make It’ sessions has been so great that Indulge Me will be holding further bookable sessions throughout half term.
Indulge Me is a small, family run business that specialises in natural and skin friendly products – from bath bombs, bubble slices, all the way through to cosmetic glitter, candles and more.
Patsie Gorman of Indulge Me said after the event:
“We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us. And we really do hope you’ve all enjoyed yourselves as much as we all have today too”.

We would like to thank everybody who came to celebrate our 2nd national unicorn day at Indulge Me last Saturday, customers old and new and our Indulge Me community as ever! We finished preparing for unicorn day at 2am the night before and went home to grab a few hours sleep! But the excitement and joy of everyone who took part in our unicorn treasure hunt and our guests at our make it sessions made it all worth it!
Please keep your free unicorn day badge from this year, as if you have last years badge as well – next years badge will qualify you for a special prize!
Also our unicorn colouring in competition is open until the end of the Easter holidays. A big thank you to the Peron who wrote such a lovely article about our celebration.
Many thanks
The Indulge Me team
