I’M LOVIN’ IT! MCDONALD’S TO WELCOME WALK-INS FROM MONDAY

Published at:

McDonald’s in Newport will once again open for takeaway orders from tomorrow, plus a FREE McNugget deal is being launched for those choosing to order for delivery.

The pandemic has seen the popular fast food outlet open and close several times, with a number of adjustments to opening hours and restrictions implemented on menu items.

With that in mind, lovers of the McDonald’s brand will be pleased to know that the St James’ Street takeaway in the heart of Newport will re-open for walk-in takeaway orders only between 06:00-22:00 daily starting tomorrow morning (Monday 22nd February 2021).

Deliveries will also be available between 08:00 and 23:45 each day and those who spend £20 with Uber Eats until 28th March can claim a free box of 20 McNuggets.

McDonald’s in Ryde is already open for drive-thru orders but will also open for walk-ins from Monday. Whilst the drive-thru will remain operational 24 hours a day, the doors will only be open to walk-ins between 05:00 and 22:00.

How Ryde McDonalds gets away with dangerously queuing traffic out on to the main road like it does without any challenge from the authorities, I will never know.
There must be some sort of brown envelope situation going on there because if it was you or I, we would be shut down immediately.
They seriously need to sort that out though before there is a serious accident there.

there won’t be an accident – the queue is no different to a tail back on any other road – eg the traffic lights at westridge cross
