A technical issue with Island Flyer has led to the suspension of Hovertravel’s cross-Solent service for the rest of the day.
The operator has confirmed that services will not resume until at least 06:00 tomorrow (Wednesday) due to a fault with 1 of 2 craft in the fleet.
The sister craft, Solent Flyer, is not available for service.
The problem hit shortly before 18:20.
Tickets are being accepted on Wightlink’s Fastcat service to and from Ryde Pier Head.
