The housebuilder behind brand new communities on the Isle of Wight is taking action to ensure its homes are on Santa’s radar this Christmas.
Barratt Homes, which has a number of new developments across the Island, has put up Santa stop here flags and written to Mr Claus to make sure he stops by this festive season. The five-star housebuilder is keen to make sure that Santa is fully aware of the developments and that the new communities get a visit.
Sales director Michelle Storer said:
“Having met many of the children who have moved to our developments we know for a fact they will be on Santa’s ‘nice’ list. We would like to reassure them and their parents that rigorous steps have been taken to notify Father Christmas about their new address.”
Santa will travel an estimated 510million km on Christmas Eve, flying at around 10million km per hour in order to make the 233 million stops on his list. His first stop is the Republic of Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean and, according to NORAD, which is running its popular online Santa tracker, he will make his way west around the world before arriving in the UK.
“Santa has a packed schedule on December 24 and these flags will make sure Santa remembers to stop at our homes on Christmas Eve. The developments have really taken shape since he last flew over, with lots of new families living here, so Santa and his reindeer will have lots to see.”
