Outcast Pro Wrestling makes its much-anticipated debut at the Quay Arts Centre in Newport for their huge event Hijacked on Saturday 22nd April.
The Isle of Wight Championship will be on the line in the opening contest: 2 former tag partners who ended things amicably to pursue individual goals, the challenger Alex Kent vs the Isle of Wight champion Victor Logan.
Alex Kent has had a brilliant last few matches but is still yet to win a championship, does this mean more to him than his ex-tag partner?
Victor Logan – the hairiest man in Wrestling – has been a show stopper on an incredible run as IOW champion but can he implement a killer instinct against his best friend?
The Sickness, a brutal, vicious, violent team of three, The reigning Outcast Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions take on Stu Hurt and fan favourite Dude Riot.
Stu Hurt is no stranger to Scrappie Jack, his former tag partner who turned his back on him in his time of need and disbanded The Storm.
Will the two lifelong friends Dude and Stu be able to claim gold against 2 out of the 3 members of the Sickness?
And who will the 2 be? Scrappie Jack, the CWP County Champion The Virus Kane Michael or Newt? Can Stu Hurt recapture the Tag Team Championships with another partner just like Scrappie Jack has done since The Storm disbanded?
The fans have chosen the despicable BT-Ryan to take on the queen of intergender wrestling and your OPW Woman’s Champion Luna Trix. These two have never met face-to-face in a ring before. BT-Ryan is already making waves but can the newcomer, who’s proving to be one of the most promising rookies in OPW, beat 1 of the very best female wrestlers in the country Luna Trix?
Next up will be a rumble featuring Axl Chaos, CJ, Azzy Adams, The White Wolf, Hazza Williams, Crimson Carter, Alun Bay, Atticus Black and Censor. Who will come out on top after throwing all of the other opponents over the top? There will be an interesting combination of experienced wrestlers and exciting newcomers in this match!
Match number 5 will be a number 1 Contenders match for the Isle of Wight Championship to then take place at our next over 18s Anarchy Rules event on May 4th at Fever and Boutique. Rudi Root is a Triple Crown Winner and is desperate to recapture gold and be a true fighting champion.
JJ Volare is the badseed. JJ recently turned his back on the OPW fans but he is just one Championship away from being a Triple Crown Winner, and the title that has always illuded him is the Isle of Wight Championship. He has been fingertips away on so many occasions, including being in the final 2 of this year’s Island Warfare Match.
Will his new bad attitude help him towards his goal or will Rudi Root’s quest for title redemption continue? And who will they face? This championship could change hands at this very show, meaning Alex Kent or Victor Logan will be looking to retain that title next month.
The main event of the evening is a 3 stages of hell match, something never seen before in Outcast Pro Wrestling. This will be a huge grudge match between the Outcast Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, the CWP Heavyweight champion and the Spartan International Champion, Jackson Arrow, with his security Drew Wilson, who will take on Corey, aged just 15.
This rivalry started when Jackson Arrow dragged a fan out of the crowd – that fan was Corey. With Jackson Arrow only just able to beat Corey – who had an incredible debut – Corey then returned at the last Island Warfare event, eliminating Jackson Arrow. The stages of this match with be pin-fall, submission and No Disqualification.
Who will be the Outcast Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion by the end of the night? Can Corey become the youngest-ever champion?
