UPDATED: Cross-Solent travel is being affected by high winds this morning (Wednesday) as Storm Frank batters the UK.
Hovertravel have suspended their service between Ryde and Southsea, whilst Wightlink are advising of 20 minute delays on their Portsmouth-Fishbourne route.
Red Funnel are operating a revised timetable today due to a technical problem earlier this week.
On the roads, HSS Hire are on the scene of a fallen tree at Carpenter’s Road, St Helens (now cleared).
The Isle of Wight Zoo say they will not open today due to the adverse weather conditions.
Heavy rain is expected later today which could lead to surface water and flooding.
UPDATE @ 16:00 – Wightlink are now operating 45 minutes behind timetable on their Fishbourne-Portsmouth route.
Hovertravel services remain suspended.
UPDATE THURSDAY: Adverse conditions continue to cause disruption this morning, with the suspension of Red Funnel’s Red Jet service between West Cowes and Southampton.
All other cross-Solent services are running to timetable.
