The Vectis Corps of Drums have recently been donated £500 by Isle of Wight firm Rob Kingswell Heavy Haulage Ltd.
Rob Kingswell, who used to be in a band himself and supports many local organisations, generously donated the money to help the band with purchasing new instruments.
Vectis Corps of Drums say they are extremely grateful for the donation and would like to express their gratitude to Rob Kingswell.
The band were presented with a cheque at a recent practice evening, where Mr and Mrs Kingswell spent the evening with members.
Now in its 27th year, Vectis Corps of Drums can be seen taking part in various events across the Island throughout the year. They are always looking for new and experienced players to join them…
