A gas emergency has led to the closure of Alverstone Road in Winford.
The closure came into force on 14th November, but the official notice has only just been issued.
Works are being carried out by SGN.
Alverstone Road is closed from its junction with Forest Road for 92 metres in a northerly direction.
Question is who is the slowest island roads 3 days to issue a closure notice or SGN in repairing a gas leak. No doubt its the lockdown and covid that is to blame for this lengthy repair time. Hopefully repaired very soon.
