Free water will keep school children at St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School in Carisbrooke well hydrated throughout the summer term.
Headteacher Maggie Sanderson has praised Morrisons in Lake for donating over 100 bottles of water to the school.
The donation came as part of Morrisons Lake’s initiative to keep children hydrated, which has also seen water donated to St Blasius Primary, Hunnyhill Primary and Ryde Academy.
Mrs Sanderson said:
“We are absolutely delighted to receive these bottles of water for our children to use at their sporting events throughout the summer term.
“We are very grateful to Morrison’s for their kind donation.”
Morrisons Lake’s Community Champion Carrie Fineran said:
“We are so pleased to be able to make this donation and support our local schools.”

Tap water and a reusable holder would be sensible
No water fountains in these schools??? It’s good that the local business wants to help but unfortunately with our government it’ll be used as an excuse to cut more funding.
Thought we were supposed to be reducing the use of plastic? What a fine example to set for the young when there is plenty of free (to the kids) water in the school taps.
