A flood alert has been issued for the Isle of Wight coast later on today (Thursday) due to a reasonably high spring tide.
High water is expected at 11:37 with a second high water at 13:41, which could lead to some coastal flooding around Cowes and minor spray overtopping sea defences in low lying locations.
No impacts are expected at Yarmouth.
High water level will be 2.5 mAOD with a Force 5 Southerly wind.
