Firefighters from Ryde are this afternoon (Thursday) tackling a hay fire in Brading.
One appliance from nearby Ryde Fire Station was mobilised to the scene near the mini roundabout at 12:45.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are tackling the small fire, with smoke spreading heavily across the carriageway.
Police are attending the scene.
