The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance at Union Road in Ryde tonight (Sunday).
Two appliances from Ryde and one from Newport were called to the scene at 20:50, however crews have now been stood down as the incident is ruled a false alarm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are on stand by, however have not been required to tackle any fire.
One appliance remains on the scene and is expected to return to station shortly.
