Red Funnel has cancelled at least 2 car ferry sailings this morning (Thursday) due to technical issues.
The cross-Solent operator has pulled the 07:30 sailing from Southampton and the 09:00 return from East Cowes.
It is currently unclear what exactly has led to the disruption in service, although it is known that technical issues led to 45 minute delays last night.
Red Funnel apologises for the inconvenience caused.
The hi-speed Red Jet service is unaffected.
UPDATE @ 10:20 – Red Funnel says it is now experiencing delays for all booked traffic of up to 90 minutes.

Here we go, there obviously hasn’t been time in the last few months to do all the maintenance required. ! ! !
