Hardworking baristas at Wightlink’s popular Costa Coffee shop on Ryde Pier have been recognised for serving the perfect cup.
The team at Costa’s only branch on a pier have received excellent feedback from satisfied customers, exceeded their sales targets and passed all their quality checks with flying colours. They scored higher than 90% on all coffee quality measures over the last year.
James Crawford, Associate Partnership Development Manager for Costa Coffee, presented them with Grazie cards and bronze ‘flying bean’ pins…
“We like to recognise and reward staff who have a passion for customer service. We are delighted to team up with Wightlink to prepare and serve the best coffee on both sides of the Solent”.
Wightlink Operations Director Elwyn Dop adds:
“Our partnership with Costa brings the nation’s favourite coffee shop to the Solent. Feedback from our customers proves they appreciate the range from cappuccinos to fruit coolers.”
Team members at Ryde are: Sally Sherwood, Marion Brett-Hill, Karolina Pacek, Tia Bucket, Cheryl Smith, Anne-Marie Ridgley, Jess Dunn, Zoe Lewis-Marlton, Monica Martinez and Steve Bailey.
Baristas at Wightlink’s Costa Coffee shop at Lymington also showed true dedication to quality, with some great results and customer feedback.
