UPDATED: At least 2 vehicles have been involved in a road traffic collision on Forest Road in Newport this evening (Wednesday).
Police and ambulance crews are currently in attendance at the scene near the Gunville Road traffic lights where one car is said to have rear-ended another.
Island Echo understands a red Mini has collided into the rear of a silver Ford, which has lifted into the air and has come to rest on the bonnet of the Mini.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area with lengthy tailbacks ensuing.
UPDATE : 18:40 – The incident has now been cleared. Both vehicles have been recovered.
No one is believed to have been seriously injured in the collision.
