Isle of Wight dance school Dance-Vibez, led by Principal Ann Abe-Deacon, performed a spectacular show on the Videopolis stage at Disneyland Paris earlier this month.
Colourful costumes, a variety of styles and carefully choreographed routines made for a stunning visual performance, watched by supportive parents who then enjoyed several days with their children in the park after the show.
Ann Abe-Deacon, who gave the 38 children involved the opportunity to dance on an international stage following a successful audition process, said:
“I was so proud of my dancers who rose to the occasion to deliver a remarkable and confident performance”.
Paul Brading, Councillor for Lake South, organised funding from the Rotary Club of Sandown to help sponsor the amazing show costumes.
New projects on the horizon include the opportunity to dance on a West End stage, and international dance events.
