Southern Vectis is treating the Island’s dads this Father’s Day by offering them the chance to travel for free across the local network.
The Isle of Wight bus operator will provide complimentary travel for fathers travelling on Sunday 18th June – as long as they are accompanied by a child buying a dayrider ticket.
Southern Vectis’ Head of Communications, Nikki Honer, has said:
“We treated mums earlier this year on Mother’s Day, so we feel it’s only right to allow youngsters to take their dads out this month.
“It’ll be a great opportunity for families to spend the day together – perhaps out for a meal or at the cinema.
“We’re hoping as many people as possible take advantage of the offer, and our team is looking forward to seeing dads and their offspring out-and-about across the island, spending quality time together on 18 June.”
