Ryde Town Council have been left disheartened by damage caused to Christmas trees and lights in the town over the festive period.
Christmas Trees in Town Square outside the Co-Operative and at Minghella Square outside Tony’s Fish and Chips have been left in a dishevelled state.
In total 6 sets of outdoor lights have also been vandalised.
The Town Council have thanked Neil Lilley and the team at NDL Electrical for putting up the trees this year, with additional thanks to Ryde School for producing baubles and for the general upkeep of the trees throughout December.
