Students at Christ the King College in Newport are celebrating success in Day 1 of the 2019 Rock Challenge, which took place at the Portsmouth Guildhall yesterday (Monday).
Last night’s event attracted a large audience and was supported by a number of sponsors.
Christ the King not only secured second place on the podium with their performance of ‘Macchina Del Tempo’, but they took home a number of other awards too.
Judges awarded Awards of Excellence for Choreography, Performance Skill, Stage Use, Concept, Drama, Soundtrack, Set Design and Function, Visual Enhancement, Lighting and Stage Crew. A further award was handed to the Newport school for Parental Involvement.
