Firefighters from Freshwater have extinguished a car fire at Golden Hill Fort tonight (Saturday).
1 appliance from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was mobilised to the incident near Norton Green at around 21:15.
A Ford Mondeo estate has been severely damaged by the blaze, which is being treated as suspicious.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus have extinguished the fire and made safe.
