UPDATED: Emergency services are attending a single vehicle road traffic collision on Newport Road in Freshwater this evening (Sunday).
A car is reported to have come to rest on its roof near to Afton.
Police are on the scene of the incident on the road also known as Middle Road.
UPDATE @ 20:30 – The driver of the vehicle has escaped injury and has not required hospital treatment.
The vehicle has now been recovered. The road remains open.
