UPDATED: Emergency crews are attending a road traffic incident on the Middle Road near Tapnell tonight (Friday) where a car has left the carriageway and entered a field.
A Co-Responder from Freshwater has responded to the scene on the B3399 following a 999 report of a car having left the road. It is currently unclear if the vehicle has rolled.
Police and an ambulance crew are now on scene, although no one is thought to have been seriously injured.
The road remains open.
UPDATE SATURDAY: The car has come to rest on its roof some distance from the road and remains in situ this morning.
