UPDATED: Firefighters are this morning (Wednesday) tackling a car fire on Betty Haunt Lane, Newport.
One appliance from Newport Fire Station was mobilised to the scene off Forest Road at around 08:45 following reports of a vehicle fire.
The crew are now on scene and dealing with the incident.
UPDATE @ 09:30 – Firefighters have successfully extinguished the fire, which broke out under the bonnet of a Renault Kangoo people carrier.
No one has been injured.
