Police are attending a road traffic collision in Newport tonight (Saturday) after a vehicle has collided with a traffic bollard and the corner of a house.
The incident has occurred on Trafalgar Road at the junction with New Street, sparking an emergency response.
The silver VW Polo has collided with the corner of a residential dwelling, which has not sustained any serious damage.
According to locals the driver has made off from the scene.
No one is believed to have been injured.
