Wightlink has welcomed Bunty the Cow to its Fishbourne and Portsmouth car ferry terminals as part of the ongoing promotion of Isle of Wight Day.
The official mascot of Isle of Wight Day (Saturday 23rd September 2017), created and donated by Tapnell Farm Park, has been popping up all over the Island this summer to promote the Day and encourage people to join in the celebrations next month.
Bunty delighted customers at Fishbourne last Thursday, then took an evening Wightlink ferry to Portsmouth to greet Bank Holiday travellers outside the ticket office at the Gunwharf car ferry terminal on Friday.
After her travels, she will lead the Isle of Wight Day Parade through Ryde before heading back home to join the Wightherd of life-sized colourful cattle at Tapnell Farm Park for a picnic and more celebrations on Sunday 24th September.
The best selfies with Bunty shared on Twitter at #iowday #buntythecow may win the snapper a coveted Isle of Wight Day award.
